Albert Kim, MD, PhD, assistant professor of neurological surgery, was senior author of a study establishing that the nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) pathway is overactive in a deadly form of brain cancer known as glioblastoma. The study was published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on Dec. 5, 2016.
