A book detailing the first 100 years of the Department of Neurosurgery at Washington University School of Medicine, written by Robert L. Grubb Jr., MD, Emeritus Herbert Lourie Professor of Neurological Surgery, is available for purchase through Matthews Book Co.

The book was published in 2011, the 100-year anniversary of the Department. This well-illustrated book is of particular interest to neurosurgeons and those interested in the history of American medical education.
